Lock In Bible — Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Hapiga Vietnam Company Limited, also known as Hapiga Studio ("Hapiga", "we", "us"), about your use of the Lock In Bible Android app and related services. By downloading or using Lock In Bible you accept these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who can use Lock In Bible
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and the UK, or the lower age of digital consent where you live). If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms for you and supervise your use and any purchase. Purchases must be authorized by the person who controls the payment account.
2. What Lock In Bible does
Lock In Bible helps you build a daily Bible reading habit. You choose apps to block; they stay blocked each day until you complete your reading or the daily window ends, unless you pause or stop blocking.
- Blocking depends on your device. It needs permissions you grant (usage access, display over other apps and, in Strict mode, Accessibility). It can stop working if Android, your device maker's battery manager, a system update or you turn those off. We do not guarantee that an app will always be blocked, or that blocking cannot be bypassed.
- Do not block apps you need for safety, health, work or emergencies. Never rely on Lock In Bible to keep you from, or give you access to, any app in an emergency. Strict mode can stop some banking or security apps from opening.
- Religious content. Lock In Bible shows Bible text and daily reading summaries. Summaries and reflections are for devotional use. They are not pastoral, medical or professional advice and may not reflect your tradition.
3. Your account
Lock In Bible creates an anonymous user ID on first launch. You can sign in with Google to connect your account with subscription services. Reading progress, highlights and blocking settings stay on your device and do not sync across devices. To restore a purchase, use the same Google Play account that made it. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity under it. You can delete your account as described in our Data Policy.
4. Subscriptions (Lock In Bible Premium)
4.1 Plans and price
Premium is an auto-renewing yearly subscription. You can choose one of several yearly prices. The price, currency and billing period are shown on the paywall and on the Google Play purchase sheet before you confirm. That purchase sheet controls the offer you buy. Local prices and taxes can vary.
4.2 Payment
Google Play charges your Google account when you confirm the purchase. RevenueCat helps us verify purchases and provide Premium. We do not receive your card details.
4.3 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each yearly period at the then-current price unless you cancel it before the renewal date in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Uninstalling the app, clearing its data or deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.
4.4 Free trials and introductory offers
If we offer a free trial or introductory price, the paywall and the Google Play purchase sheet show its length and the price that applies after it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription and you are charged. Not all plans or users qualify for a trial.
4.5 Cancellation and refunds
When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow applicable law and Google Play's refund policies. Contact Google Play or our support team for help with a purchase. These Terms do not remove a refund or cancellation right that the law gives you.
4.6 Price changes
Any change to a recurring price is subject to Google Play's notice and acceptance rules and applicable law. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before it applies.
4.7 Restore purchases
If you reinstall Lock In Bible or change devices, use Restore Purchases while signed in to the Google Play account that made the purchase. Signing in to Lock In Bible with Google does not by itself restore a purchase. Restoring depends on the store account, the purchase and the store's rules.
5. License and acceptable use
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lock In Bible on devices you control, under these Terms and the store's rules. Do not use Lock In Bible to break the law or harm others, bypass subscription checks, interfere with our services, or copy, sell or extract protected app content, except where a license or the law permits it.
6. Rights in the app and Scripture
Hapiga and its licensors keep their rights in the app's software, branding, artwork and other protected material. Scripture editions and translation names have their own rights and notices; we do not claim ownership of public-domain Scripture. Highlights and other content you create stay yours and are stored on your device.
7. Third-party services
Google Play, Google Firebase (including Remote Config), RevenueCat, Adjust and Meta support parts of the app (see the Privacy Policy). Their own terms apply to your use of their services.
8. Changes
We may change or end features to improve the app, for security or for legal reasons. We will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law or Google Play rules when a change affects a paid service. We may revise these Terms; we will publish the new version with its date and give notice of significant changes where required.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a useful and reliable app, but it may contain errors or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we provide it as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or that it will always block the apps you choose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any liability or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory remedies remain available.
10. Ending use and disputes
You can stop using Lock In Bible at any time and delete your account. Cancel a subscription separately in Google Play. We may restrict access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
Applicable law determines the rules and courts that apply to a dispute. These Terms do not take away mandatory protections under the law where you live, require private arbitration, or prevent you from using a court or regulator available to you by law. Contact us first if you would like help resolving a concern.
