Lock In Bible — Data Policy and Account Deletion
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your Lock In Bible account and data, and what happens to each kind of data. Lock In Bible is provided by Hapiga Vietnam Company Limited, also known as Hapiga Studio. Read it with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1. Delete your account and data
You do not need the app installed or a paid subscription to ask for deletion.
From the app
Open Privacy → Request account deletion in Settings or on the paywall. This opens an email request with your user ID. Review it and send it to us. If no email app is available, use the email address below.
By email
- Send an email to support@hapiga.com with the subject "Lock In Bible data deletion".
- Include the email address of the Google account you signed in with, or your user ID if you never signed in.
- Say whether you want deletion, a copy of your data, or both.
We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address. We respond within 30 days and explain what was deleted, which provider requests were submitted, and any records that must be kept. Provider processing and backup removal can take longer.
Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions.
2. What we delete and what we keep
| Data | What happens on deletion |
|---|---|
| Your account (Firebase Authentication) | Deleted |
| Analytics events, answers (including religion) and blocked-app names (Google Analytics for Firebase) | We submit a deletion request for the user IDs we can identify as yours |
| Attribution data (Adjust) | We request erasure through Adjust's GDPR process for device identifiers we can identify as yours |
| Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) | Google keeps reports for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems |
| Subscription records (RevenueCat, Google Play) | Customer record deleted in RevenueCat. Transaction records may be kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Google Play keeps its own records under Google's policy |
| Support emails | Kept as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations |
| Data on your device (reading progress, highlights, blocking settings) | Removed when you uninstall Lock In Bible or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Lock In Bible → Storage |
BigQuery exports are not enabled. No analytics warehouse export is currently stored. If we enable exports later, we will update the retention and deletion information before using them.
Firebase Remote Config uses a separate Firebase installation ID for feature settings. This is different from your account user ID. Contact us if your request covers these records. We may need additional information to locate installation-specific records, including attribution records held by Meta. Google removes a Firebase installation ID from live and backup systems within 180 days after an API deletion request.
3. Other choices
- Withdraw consent for your religion answer in Privacy → Religion analytics. For deletion of past events, send a request with the steps above.
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Strict mode and permissions: turn them off in Lock In Bible Settings or in Android Settings.
- Access, correction and other rights: see Section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
